Your brand, your bookings.

Your school stays the seller:List your own trial flights and lesson slots on your own site instead of handing 15% to 25% to third-party agencies. Your school sets the prices and collects the money itself — Skyline takes no cut and is never the merchant.
Live Availability on Custom Domain:Connect your school's web address (e.g. fly.yourschool.co.uk) with real-time aircraft and instructor calendar availability.
Mobile Self-Service for Members:Pilots and students can view their upcoming slots, request new flight bookings, and check their account balance on mobile.
Operations Dispatch Desk

The visual flight operations schedule.

Keep aircraft, instructors, students, and maintenance perfectly coordinated. Real-time timeline availability prevents double-bookings, while 1-click closure blockouts handle weather instantly.

How a flying day runs

Paper and whiteboard. Then Skyline.

The same four beats you already run: book, check in, meters, lesson notes. Your school still collects the money.

01Customer bookings
PAPER & WHITEBOARDPhone tag, a paper diary, and voicemail after the office closes.
WITH SKYLINEStudents and members book the slot online. The day board shows what is free before they confirm.
02Ramp check-in
PAPER & WHITEBOARDA clipboard on the desk. Someone will type the times up tomorrow.
WITH SKYLINEOn the ramp, open the landing. Check-in takes seconds on a phone.
03Hobbs/Tach math
PAPER & WHITEBOARDMeter times in one book, then a calculator, then the invoice — if anyone finishes it.
WITH SKYLINEEnding Hobbs and Tach calculate the billable time on the landing card.
04Lesson notes
PAPER & WHITEBOARDDebrief on a slip in a bag — if the covering instructor ever sees it.
WITH SKYLINELesson notes sit on the same card as Hobbs and Tach, before anyone leaves the apron.
05Who collects the money
PAPER & WHITEBOARDThird-party voucher sites taking 15% to 25% of a trial flight.
WITH SKYLINEYour school sets the price and collects the money — own account, cash, or card machine. Skyline takes 0% and is never the seller.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about switching your flight school or flying club to Skyline.

Is Skyline Custom a private fork we will own?

No. Custom is guided configuration on the shared Skyline platform — tenant, branding, and onboarding. Your school owns brand, content, and operational data. It is not a permanent product fork.

Can we just start a SaaS trial instead?

Self-serve SaaS is on a waitlist until the product is ready to evaluate. There is no Start Trial today. Custom is the path for a branded, guided launch now on the same platform.

Who collects the money when a customer books a discovery flight?

Your school does. Skyline gives you branded booking and discovery flight pages, but your school is the seller. You either connect your own Stripe account so card payments land straight in your bank, or take payment offline by cash or card machine. Skyline is not the merchant for those transactions.

How does the dispatch calendar prevent double-bookings?

Skyline's scheduling engine performs real-time collision detection across both aircraft registration and instructor availability. It is impossible to book an instructor or aircraft for two overlapping slots.

How does ramp flight check-in work?

Upon landing, the instructor or pilot opens the digital check-in on their phone or tablet, enters the ending Hobbs/Tach meter readings, and logs any squawks. Skyline calculates billable flight duration and updates the student's ledger.

What does Flight Academy mean?

Flight Academy is the future SaaS top plan name only — not a Custom package. Custom is a scoped project plus monthly ops care, quoted after discovery.

Need a launch now?

Skyline Custom is the buy-now path. SaaS stays waitlist until it is ready to evaluate.
